What separates us from other financial advisors?

As a registered investment adviser we are a fiduciary, required by law to always place our clients’ interest before our own.  We are not affiliated with any broker-dealer or investment product; therefore we can offer independent advice free from conflict.  Unlike some representatives of large brokerage firms we have no incentive to recommend any certain investment or investment product because we do not earn commissions based upon sales.  We are a fee-only adviser.  We are compensated based upon a percentage of the value of the assets you request us to manage.  This compensation arrangement fosters the best incentive to grow and protect your assets because your success is then our success!  We have established and adhere to a Code of Ethics and are proudly committed to this fiduciary duty to always place your interests before our own.

What does being a Fiduciary mean?

A fiduciary is an individual who undertakes to act for and on behalf of another in a particular matter. A fiduciary has to perform his duties with the utmost of trust and honesty. A fiduciary is expected to be loyal to the person to whom he owes the duty (the "principal"). He must not put his personal interests before the principal and must not profit from his position as a fiduciary unless the principal consents.
